FAQ
What type of parties
and events do you provide inflatable fun for?
Space Walk provides inflatable fun for every occasion including birthday
parties, charity events, church festivals, company picnics, grand
openings and many more.
How big are Space Walks?
While the typical Space Walk Bounce is approximately 15’ square
and 15’ high, some of our Space Walk Bounces can be as tall
as 23’ and some of our slides even higher. The best way to
find out is to call the branch that services your area to find out
what equipment they have available and its dimensions. Our local
Partners are certified Inflatable Operators and will be happy to
answer any questions you may have. |
How many children can play in a Space Walk at one time?
Some Space Walks can safely handle more participants that others.
The rental agreement and rules for operation will be provided to
you by your local Certified Inflatable Operator and will state the
number of users allowed on the equipment you rent. We welcome your
call to allow us to provide you with any information that will help
make your event both safe and memorable.
How much does it cost to rent
a Space Walk?
Rental rates will vary throughout our locations but will be competitive
in the market that is served by our Partner. While cost is always
a consideration, we have found that by focusing our efforts on making
your event safe and enjoyable we are able to serve our customers
needs at a reasonable price and keep them coming back year after.
We currently are serving some families whose grandfathers played
in our Space Walks.

|
Are Space Walks
clean?
Yes. All Space Walks are clean. We are committed to making sure that
your children are playing in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
What happens if it rains?
If, on the day of your rental, rain is predicted you will be given
the option to cancel your rental or reschedule at no cost. However,
if you pick up the equipment or it is delivered to you there are
no refunds.
How far in advance should I reserve my Space Walks?
That would depend on the time of year and what you would like to
rent. Many of our rentals are booked well in advance of the usual
holidays. The best way to insure that you will be able to get what
you want is to book as soon as you have decided on the date for
a party or event. We hate to have to disappoint anyone who is requesting
a specific item. Be sure to call your local branch, they will be
happy to work with you.

Can Space Walks be set-up indoors?
Yes. We can set up Space Walks in gymnasiums, halls, churches, or any where else that can accommodate the height of our Space Walks.
How long do I get to keep a Space Walk rental?
Space Walk found out over 25 years ago that most children who play
on inflatables aren’t satisfied with 3-4 hours of fun. All
of our rentals are for a full day. We also offer overnight rentals
for an additional charge and discounts for multiple day rentals.
Can I keep the Space Walk over night?
Yes, but there will be an additional fee for this service and the Space Walk
must be set-up in a secure area. Please contact your Space Walk representative
for instructions and they’ll be happy to work with you. However, your Space
Walk representative reserves the right to deny this service as well as the right
to cancel the over night portion at any time based on availability of equipment,
weather or other factors.

What is the Cancellation
Policy?
Each of our branch locations determines their own cancellation policy
based on the demand for their equipment in the marketplace. Please
check with your local Certified Inflatable Operator for specifics
on their location.
How do I order a Space Walk?
Our local Certified Inflatable Operators are waiting for the opportunity
to answer all of your questions and to make your event or party
special. You may give them a call at the number shown on their
website with any questions or to place your order or use the link
on their website to send them an email requesting the items you
are interested in.

Does a Space Walk have to be delivered?
We believe that inflatable fun should be available to anyone who
wants it. To make our product affordable to everyone we do allow
customers to pick up our products and set them up themselves. When
our products are picked up our Certified Inflatable Operator will
explain how to set it up and use it safely. Currently, about ½ of
our customers take advantage of the cost savings and extra time
offered with a customer pick up.

What should I do if I have a
problem?
Your local Space Walk Partner will provide you with a phone number
to reach them in the event of a problem. With over 25 years of experience
in the inflatable rental business problems are rare. All of us at
Space Walk want your event or party to be special. If you should
encounter a problem our Certified Inflatable Operator stands ready
to help.
How
much electricity does the Space Walk use?
The blower runs continuously and uses approximately 14¢ of
electricity per hour, which is less than many of your home appliances.
What happens if I lose power?
All inflatables designed for commercial or rental use require a
fan or blower that runs continuously. Should the blowers provided
to you stop working, immediately remove the children playing
in or on it. Then check the circuit breaker to see if it has
tripped. If so, reset the breaker and continue playing on the
inflatables. Should the breaker trip a second time you should
try another electrical outlet. If it trips again please call
the number provided to you by our Partner.
Is it Safe to use electricity with inflatables
that use water?
It is important that when using inflatables that require water
that the electrical outlet be protected by a ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI). This will trip if there is an electrical short.
Also, you should insure that any extension cords or electrical
cords are not lying in the water.

Why do I have
to use anchors or sandbags with inflatables?
While inflatables are heavy, they also present a large surface to
the wind. If an inflatable is not anchored correctly the wind, depending
on how strong it is, can actually pick it up and blow it away with
or without children playing in or on it. Regardless of how well anchored
an inflatable is it should not be played on or in when the winds exceed
twenty miles per hour.
Can I use a water hose on a Space Walk?
There are Space Walks designed for use with water and your Certified
Inflatable Operator will be glad to explain them to you. Under no
circumstances should water be used with any inflatable that is not
designed for such use.
Why is an adult required at all times to
monitor the use of an inflatable?
Inflatables that are used correctly are safer than playground swings
and slides. Improper use by the occupants, such as climbing on
the nets, rough housing or running into one another can cause serious
injury. It is important that a responsible adult be in charge of
an inflatable at all times to insure that all safety rules are
followed to prevent injury.
